The ISFP’s guide to productivity

The word productivity, often used a million times every hour in any business or work environment, simply means getting the best possible output from your given input. Its synonymous with other buzz words like “efficiency” and “time management”.

Productivity is definitely not the same as having a lot to do every single day or being a workaholic. Its about doing things that get you closer to your personal goals or the goals of the company you work for. So if you’re doing anything outside that, that’s just busy work.

The tips I’m giving in this article may be generalized to all kinds of introverts, But remember that this is from a personal perspective, and I am an ISFP. Feel free to carry out a Myers-Briggs personality test online after reading this.

1. You need a quiet space

You’ve probably heard this a million times that you should not work where there is noise. But you should remember to consciously practice this every day. Some of us seek to do some meaningful work without putting away our phones first, or by still being available to online and offline distractions.

You know why you’re an introvert right?

It’s because you respond much more to external stimuli than extroverts do.
